About the artist: Cecily Sammons

Cecily Sammons is a fine arts painter whose self expression has been rooted in creativity from an early age through dance, drawing, and calligraphy. Her painting style has developed into one which relies heavily on color and movement as the major elements of her work. She loves painting bright, loose florals, and large, textured abstracts to complement and add interest to the design of a home’s interior.

Cecily explores a variety of mediums in her compositions including acrylic paint, pastels, charcoal, inks, and watercolor. Her paintings range from small paper pieces to large works on canvas.

Along with her husband Shaun and two step-sons, Cecily resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
