About the Artist: Lauren Bolshakov

My process is focused on the application of paint and linework, each layer responding intuitively to the last and with each other, creating expressive, movement driven works that reflect my inspiration by nature, movement, and by the fleeting beauty of florals. My most recent body of work seeks to align my love for fluid transparent layers peeking through heavy bodied paint applications and accentuated with graphite and charcoal.
